MY RUIN Frontwoman: 'This Album Is Shaping Up To Be Our Heaviest Yet'
December 3, 2006MY RUIN lead vocalist Tairrie B., who was seriously injured in a car accident in late September, has issued the following message via the group's MySpace page:
"We are currently in the studio mixing [the new MY RUIN album]. We're all very excited about our next release and in no rush, so we're taking our time. The new songs are sounding great and the only thing missing at the moment is Matt [Lechevalier, drums] but he'll be back with us in January.
"This album is shaping up to be our heaviest yet and soon we will posting video footage from the studio of my recording sessions to give you a sneak preview and a second look inside the making of it... vocally speaking.
"In the meantime, I have put together a slideshow with photographs of our evenings together for you to check out.
"We want to thank Duane, Scott and Mudrock for EVERYTHING... above and beyond. The Hobby Shop [studio] is killer and you guys fucking RULE! I have also posted a video with the latest update on my arm.
"I want to thank everyone once again for all the love and support you have all been sending my way. It's really amazing to know that so many people care so much. Once again, I appreciate everyone taking the time to send their thoughts, letters, comments and even gifts.
"As you know, we have been documenting everything, from the recovery to the recording, to let you know where i'm at with my healing. I'm looking forward to playing our first show in 2007 and debuting our new songs live for the first time."
